Evergreen Fiber Works - 4 Ply Sock Sets and Sock Hand Dyed Yarn

from $45.00

A big warm welcome to our newest indie dyers, sister-in-law Pamela and Valerie from Evergreen Fiber Works, all the way from Wisconsin.

I fell in love with their crazy STUNNING hues - and they’re even more BEAUTIFUL (!!!) in person. The yarn is incredibly soft, the colourways are magical 🤩 - perfectly showcase the awe-inspiring nature that Pamela & Valerie aimed to capture.

‍We have a number of sock sets (100g = 370m+ 20g=73m; total approx 443m) and individual skeins (100g = 370m) available. All in the Hemlock Sock base (see info below).

You won’t be disappointed, trust me. They are THAT gorgeous.

SOCK SETS

Ocean Jasper

A luminous blend of light blues, rich greens, and golden hues, inspired by the swirling patterns of its namesake stone. This colorway captures the rhythmic energy of the ocean and the earthy richness of mineral veins, offering a look that’s both organic and luminous.

June Sunset

June Sunset is a mesmerizing blend of pink, peach, lavender, and sky blue layers with added speckles in shades of purple, aqua, and orange. Inspired by a breathtaking June sunset in Wisconsin, it captures the essence of vibrant twilight hues.

Smoky Mountains

Great Smoky Mountains National Park was developed for our December 2021 National Parks Yarn Club based on a photo Valerie took while visiting this spectacular National Park with her family.

It is a neutral brown/gray layered with speckles of burnt orange, deep crimson, and black. There is a section of crimson in each skein which will give you beautiful pops of color as you knit it.

Isle Royale

Named after their favorite 2021 National Parks discovery, Isle Royale is a delightful dance of purple, pink, and blue hues that blend together in the most charming way. This 80/20 blend brings a whimsical, multi-tonal palette that's perfect for adding personality and joy to your next fiber project.

INDIVIDUAL SKEINS

Black Opal

Black Opal is a deep gray-black canvas adorned with a vibrant smattering of colorful neon speckles

Anderson Dock

This vibrant hand-dyed yarn colorway is inspired by the iconic Anderson Dock in Door County-famous for its weathered boards covered in decades of colorful signatures and paint. Just like the dock itself, this color blends layers of rusty red, sun-washed gold, turquoise graffiti pops, deep inky charcoal speckles, and warm autumnal tones with earthy hues, Together, they create a textured, painterly effect that feels both nostalgic and boldly artistic.

Kingfisher

Kingfisher features a variegated blend of burnt orange and blue/teal hues, capturing the vibrant and striking colors often associated with the kingfisher bird.
